Construction Manager (Building)

Our client, a small to medium market leader in the building/construction industry, specializing in medium to large new residential and commercial building projects, seeks to employ a qualified and experienced Construction Manager with high proficiency in site administration to join their growing company in the Winelands.

Please note that this role requires experience in the construction of high-end and luxury residential and commercial buildings, as well as excellent organizational and administrative skills.

Due to the urgency of the role, candidates residing in the Cape Town region will be given preference.

Key Requirements:

1. Completed a degree in Construction Management with 5-8 years of experience managing building project sites, specifically in luxury residential and commercial sectors.
2. Proven experience in planning, management, cost and budget management, SHEQ management, quality and policy reporting, and labor/legislation management on site.
3. Solid experience in managing sites effectively according to client specifications and contract obligations, ensuring high standards for materials and subcontractor agreements.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills, effective communication to lead teams and liaise with clients.
5. Flexibility to travel if needed, exceptional interpersonal skills, ability to communicate at all levels, lead by example, and deliver results in high-pressure environments meeting international standards.
