Construction Manager

Our client, a leading organisation experiencing significant growth, is seeking talented and experienced Female Construction Managers for urgent project opportunities in Johannesburg. These positions are critical to managing the company’s expanding portfolio of projects.

Responsibilities :

1. Oversee Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), quality, and progress.
2. Collaborate with the assigned Project Manager during key project phases for guidance and input.
3. Develop and refine project plans in consultation with the Project Manager.
4. Ensure effective communication and information flow from the Project Manager to the execution team.
5. Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to Senior Management.
6. Create and manage program trackers.
7. Implement necessary adjustments to ensure projects are completed according to the project owner's specifications.
8. Compile and manage all project handover documentation.
9. Prepare comprehensive progress reports for all stakeholders.
10. Plan, initiate, execute, supervise, and successfully close out assigned projects.

Requirements :

1. Relevant licenses as applicable.
2. Tertiary education: Degree or National Diploma in Building or Construction Management.
3. Accreditation with ECSA or SACPCMP is advantageous.

Skills :

1. Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project.
2. Strong understanding of the project life cycle.
3. Solid knowledge of building construction projects.
4. Previous experience in Retail Construction, Forecourts, or the Retail Oil Industry is preferred.
