Placements24 is seeking an experienced Construction Foreman to supervise on-site operations for industrial facility projects in Port Elizabeth. You will manage daily crews, ensure adherence to plans, safety regs, and quality standards while coordinating trades to keep the project progressing on schedule.

The role requires strong leadership, organization, and attention to detail, with a focus on safe practices and problem-solving to meet timelines and objectives in the Eastern Cape region.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as a Construction Foreman or supervisor on industrial projects.
• Ability to lead and motivate a crew.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

About the Role

You will be responsible for managing the daily activities of construction crews, ensuring adherence to project plans, safety regulations, and quality standards. This hands-on role demands excellent leadership, strong organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail. You will play a critical role in coordinating trades, troubleshooting site issues, and ensuring efficient progress to meet project timelines and objectives. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct daily activities of construction workers and subcontractors on site.

• Conduct daily safety toolbox talks and enforce all safety regulations and procedures.

Requirements
