Placements24 is seeking a Senior Construction Foreman to lead on-site operations in East London. You will supervise daily construction activities, ensuring quality and safety while driving productivity across multiple projects.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication, and the ability to read blueprints and plans. Experience in the East London area is advantageous and housing allowances may be available for supervisors on remote projects.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Construction Foreman to lead on-site operations for various projects in East London . As a Senior Foreman, you will be responsible for supervising daily construction activities, ensuring the efficient execution of work by your team, and upholding the highest standards of quality, safety, and productivity. This role requires hands-on experience, strong leadership qualities, and a deep understanding of construction processes and techniques. You will play a vital role in the successful completion of projects in the Eastern Cape .

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the daily activities of construction crews, including laborers, skilled trades, and subcontractors.
• Ensure all work is performed according to project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
• Implement and enforce safety regulations and procedures on the job site, conducting daily safety briefings.
• Manage the efficient use of labor, equipment, and materials to optimize productivity and minimize waste.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to address site issues and ensure project progress.
• Inspect work in progress and completed work to ensure it meets required standards.
• Maintain daily progress reports and site records, including timekeeping and material usage.
