JOB SUMMARY:- Under general supervision, supervises one significant project or multiple medium-sized projects.
- Develops/implements policies, procedures, and methods.
- Maintains a close working relationship with operational management.
- Directs the operations of two or more departments (construction engineering, welding technology, NDE services, and quality support) within the construction/maintenance function’s Construction Support group, which provides construction and technical support to projects during the conceptual, design, and construction phases of a project.
- Staffs the Construction Support group with qualified, experienced, knowledgeable, and professional personnel as required to provide necessary services to support construction activities.
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:- Degreed in Engineering / Construction Management or equivalent project experience.
- Typically has 10+ years of engineering and/or project experience within the Mining Industry.
- Construction Professional Registration.
- Business / Project Management Certificates (Advantage)
