Job summary

NOV in South Africa is seeking an Application Support Analyst to join the Connected Products group. You will join the technical team to monitor configuration settings and ensure reliability from development through production.

The role requires hands-on installation, configuration, upgrades, performance monitoring, and collaboration with the Development Team to troubleshoot customer issues; you will document solutions and create troubleshooting guides while adhering to company policies and HSE

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or Graduate Education: Degree in computer science, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management.
• Education: All academic degrees and coursework must be from accredited institutions

Responsibilities

• Installs, configures, and upgrades Connected Product solutions.
• Monitors performance and availability; suggests improvements when applicable.
• Troubleshoots customer issues with the Development Team; records issues in the ticketing system.
• Documents the implemented solution, bug fixes, etc.; creates troubleshooting documents.
• Performs other work-related tasks as assigned.
• Complies with NOV policies and HSE procedures
