Configuration Manager Change Manager

About our client :

What you will be doing :

• Maintain accurate data within the ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
• Ensure proper mapping of Configuration Items (CIs) and their dependencies.
• Perform regular audits and data quality checks to ensure CMDB integrity.
• Develop and enforce governance policies for configuration management.
• Lead the end-to-end Change Management process to minimise IT service disruption.
• Review and assess change requests for risk compliance and alignment with business objectives and ITIL standards.
• Facilitate Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings with relevant stakeholders.
• Monitor change implementation and report on outcomes identifying areas for process improvement.
• Collaborate with the ServiceNow development team to configure, design, and maintain workflows for change and configuration processes.
• Identify opportunities to enhance automation and process efficiency using platform capabilities.
• Ensure platform functionality aligns with organisational needs.
• Act as a liaison between IT business units and vendors for change and configuration activities.
• Provide training and support to stakeholders to ensure consistent process adherence.

What our client is looking for :

• A relevant tertiary degree would be beneficial (IT, Computer Science, etc.)
• ITIL Practitioner: Service Configuration Management
• ITIL Specialist: Plan, Implement, and Control
• Additional ITIL certifications (advantageous)
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) Change Management or CMDB
• Additional ServiceNow certifications (advantageous)
• 5 years of experience in ITIL-based Change and Configuration Management roles
• Strong understanding of ITSM frameworks and best practices
• Experience initiating and chairing Emergency Change Advisory Board (ECAB) meetings
• 3 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow focused on Change Management and CMDB modules
• Experience working in multinational organisations and managing cross-functional teams
• Solid understanding of data governance and regulatory compliance requirements
