Are you a conceptual copy ninja who thinks in campaigns and dreams in jingles? Are you a big idea bloomer? Do you secretly love a good pun and often find yourself torn between keeping friends and correcting their grammar? More versatile than duct tape? Do you write for money and fun? If you're that nerd, we want you in our herd. ️ We're looking for an idea-obsessed, and endlessly adaptable conceptual copywriter to join our in-house creative crew. From big-screen TVCs to the tiniest digital banners, you'll be a creative spark that connects brand love with real action.

  • Inspires and motivates a talented creative team around them, fostering a collaborative environment that leverages both conceptual strengths and retail knowledge.
  • Championing the big idea from concept to full execution.
  • Develop content across various marketing channels, including ad copy, website copy, email campaigns, social media posts, product descriptions and blog posts, all with a keen understanding of customer needs and journeys.
  • Ensure creative work is aligned with business, product and brand strategy.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • 4 - 5 years’ experience in both brand and retail marketing or advertising (ideally on well-known local brands).
  • Strong conceptual thinker who can turn a blank page into a big, campaignable idea.
  • Crafts copy that clicks, converts, and commands attention (especially in digital).
  • A storyteller and master of the written word—clear, compelling, and always on-brand.
  • Knows what lands in Mzansi. Have a deep understanding of local culture and digital behaviour.
  • Experience working in a fintech company.
