Job summary

Placements24 seeks a Computer Vision Engineer for its Centurion R&D team to design real-time vision systems enabling autonomous robotics. You will work on perception, tracking, and scene understanding across challenging environments.

Proficiency in OpenCV, PCL, TensorFlow or PyTorch, and strong C++/Python skills are required. Experience with SLAM, sensor fusion, and robotics platforms is highly valued. Relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related field with computer vision specialization.
• Experience implementing CV algorithms using OpenCV, PCL and ML libraries (TF, PyTorch).
• Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize computer vision algorithms for real-time applications.
• Implement solutions for object detection, tracking, segmentation, and 3D reconstruction.
• Integrate and test vision systems with robotic platforms and sensors (cameras, LiDAR, IMUs).
• Develop and maintain data pipelines for image/video processing.
• Collaborate with hardware/software engineers to define system requirements.
• Perform extensive testing and validation of vision algorithms across environments.
• Stay updated with CV/ML research and document developments.
