Componenet Rebuild Analyst Global Grade 10

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Engineering Design: Developing new products and solutions from first principles.
2. Value engineering of existing products.
3. Design validation and FEA analysis.
4. Compilation and approval of drawing packs in conjunction with the drawing office.
5. Compilation of Bill of Materials via ERP system.
6. Specification of 3rd party equipment.
7. Conducting on-site research and information gathering.

Working in conjunction with Test Plant technicians to conduct process verification and material sample testing.

Projects: Managing project-specific engineering deliverables according to project scope and schedule. On-Site Commissioning of equipment in conjunction with product support team.

Supporting Documentation: Oversee the compilation of client-specific Manuals and Illustrated Parts Catalogues, compilation of technical reports, memos, and specifications.

Engineering Admin and Change Management: Handling of Non-conformances. Updating drawings, manuals, and supporting documentation according to the Engineering Change Procedure.

QUALIFICATION: BEng or BSc Mechanical Engineering.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5 years experience in a similar position.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

1. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
3. Good knowledge of manufacturing methods and materials.
4. Good computer literacy skills (Microsoft Office).
5. Good CAD software skills (AutoCAD and Inventor preferred).
6. Experience with Finite Element Analysis.
7. Working knowledge of crushing equipment such as cone crushers, jaw crushers, and ball mills will be an advantage.
8. Experience of being on a mine.

Additional Requirements:

1. Valid Driver's License and own transport.
2. Valid Passport.
3. Able to pass standard medical assessment for mine access.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: The position includes travel to sites and will require being away from home for multiple days at a time.
