Job description

Our client in the facilities management, cleaning, and security industry is looking for a Compliance Officer (Landscaping), based in JHB – Hyde Park.

Reporting: The Compliance Officer (Landscaping) will report directly to the Landscaping Specialist.

Purpose of the Job:

The Compliance Officer will ensure that Landscaping Personnel comply with company policies, procedures, regulations, and requirements related to landscaping. The role also involves maintaining high standards of service delivery and operational efficiency.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Matric Certified
  • Bilingual
  • Solid computer proficiency
  • Driver’s License Code 08
  • 3 years of direct managerial experience
  • 2-4 years of experience in the cleaning and landscaping industry
  • Knowledge of landscaping industry regulations, including operational and client requirements
  • Postgraduate qualification in Horticulture or Landscaping

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Enforce the company’s disciplinary code of conduct
  • Ensure compliance of landscaping personnel with policies, procedures, regulations, and HSHEQ standards
  • Maintain annual leave coverage throughout the year
  • Address pay queries promptly
  • Manage rostering and manpower effectively
  • Assist with training and induction of onsite personnel
  • Investigate onsite allegations and report findings
  • Implement roster changes promptly for all adjustments
  • Manage equipment and ensure servicing
  • Ensure service delivery as per SLA
