Job description

Purpose of the Job : The Compliance Officer will report to the Landscaping Specialist. The primary responsibility of the Compliance Officer is to ensure that Landscaping Personnel are in full compliance with standard Company Policies / Procedures / Regulations and Requirements relating to Landscaping. Further to ensure our service delivery standards and operational efficiencies are constantly maintained at the highest level.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  1. Enforce the Company’s Disciplinary Code of Conduct
  2. Ensure that landscaping personnel are in full compliance with standard company policies, procedures, regulations, HSHEQ regulations, and specific requirements relating to landscaping
  3. Maintain normal annual leave coverage throughout the year
  4. Address and resolve pay queries promptly
  5. Manage rostering and manpower planning effectively
  6. Assist with ongoing training and induction of onsite personnel
  7. Investigate onsite allegations and report findings accordingly
  8. Ensure timely implementation of roster changes (permanent, leave, sick, temp, additional/reduction of posts or sites)
  9. Oversee equipment management and servicing
  10. Ensure all services are rendered 100% as per SLA

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :

  1. Matric
  2. Certified
  3. Bilingual
  4. Solid computer proficiency
  5. Drivers License Code 08
  6. 3 years of direct managerial experience
  7. 2-4 years of experience in the cleaning and landscaping industry
  8. Knowledge of industry regulations, operational, and client requirements
  9. Postgraduate qualification in Horticulture or Landscaping
