Job summary

FROGG Recruitment in Sandton, Johannesburg invites a seasoned Compliance Officer with 5 years’ property management experience to join our client’s team. The role focuses on maintaining regulatory compliance, governance and robust administration across the property portfolio.

You'll manage compliance registers, support audits, review leases and liaise with landlords, tenants and service providers, ensuring timely reporting and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Matric; relevant compliance, legal or property qualification.
• 5 years’ compliance experience.
• Admitted Attorney preferred
• Must have experience working for a property management company.
• Strong understanding of property management processes and compliance requirements.
• Excellent administration, reporting and document management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor compliance across the property portfolio.
• Ensure internal policies, procedures and regulatory requirements are followed.
• Maintain compliance registers, records and supporting documentation.
• Review and monitor leases, supplier documents and property compliance requirements.
• Assist with audits and prepare compliance reports for management.
• Track expiry dates for licences, certificates, contracts and statutory documents.
• Liaise with landlords, tenants, service providers and internal departments.
• Identify compliance risks and assist with corrective action plans.
• Support health & safety, POPIA, FICA and general governance compliance.
