Job summary

Dante Personnel is seeking a Compliance Officer for an established law firm in Pretoria. The role focuses on driving and monitoring compliance across the firm, including FICA, AML, POPIA, and KYC onboarding processes.

You will oversee client onboarding, data retention, records management, and regulatory updates, while guiding on employment compliance such as UIF and COIDA. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• LLB or relevant Compliance qualification; Admitted Attorney advantageous.
• 3+ years experience in legal/compliance environment.
• Strong knowledge of FICA, POPIA and AML.
• Excellent understanding of KYC and client onboarding compliance.
• Knowledge of Employment Compliance, including UIF and COIDA.
• Strong data retention and records management understanding.
• Experience in risk management and handling complaints.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
