Job description

Regulatory Compliance & Accreditation (QCTO, SETA, EISA

Ensure full compliance with Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO) standards, including program accreditation and curriculum alignment.

Liaise with Sector Education and Training Authorities (SETAs) for learner registrations, grant applications, and reporting requirements.

Manages External Integrated Summative Assessments (EISA), ensuring adherence to assessment protocols and processes.

Manage applications for accreditation, re-accreditation, and scope expansion with regulatory bodies.

Keep updated on legislative changes affecting training and skills development.

Quality Assurance & Audits

Develop and maintain compliance policies and procedures aligned with QCTO, SETA, and EISA requirements.

Conduct internal audits and readiness assessments for external audits by SETA / QCTO / EISA.

Ensure that learner records, assessment results, and training documentation comply with regulatory standards.

Monitor adherence to learner tracking, workplace-based learning, and moderation requirements.

Implement corrective actions from audit findings to maintain accreditation.

Skills Framework for the Information Age (SFIA) Implementation

Align training programs with the SFIA framework to ensure IT and digital skills meet global industry standards.

Map training competencies and assessments to SFIA skills levels.

Support the development of competency matrices for learners and trainers in line with SFIA guidelines.

Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting

Liaise with QCTO, SETAs, EISA, and other regulatory bodies on accreditation, funding, and compliance matters.

Support training providers and facilitators in maintaining compliance with regulatory and curriculum standards.

Prepare and submit required reports, learner enrollment data, and completion statistics to relevant authorities.

Ensure transparent communication with funders, employers, and learners on compliance and certification processes.

Risk Management & Continuous Improvement

Identify potential compliance risks and implement proactive measures to mitigate them.

Develop and deliver internal training sessions on compliance best practices for facilitators and administrators.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance training quality, assessment integrity, and compliance efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience :

Degree / Diploma in Education, Training Management, Compliance, or a related field.

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in training compliance, quality assurance, or accreditation processes.

In-depth knowledge of QCTO, SETA, and EISA accreditation requirements.

Familiarity with SFIA (Skills Framework for the Information Age) and its application in training programs.

Experience in audit preparation, learner tracking systems, and accreditation applications.

Strong understanding of skills development legislation (e.g., SDA, SDLA, NQF Act, QCTO policies).

Excellent analytical, auditing, and documentation skills.

Effective communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Ability to manage multiple compliance projects simultaneously.
