KingMakers, a proudly African company, seeks a Compliance Manager for SuperSportBet in South Africa. You will lead and manage compliance activities, advise executive teams, and ensure adherence to WCGRB regulations. This fixed-term 6-month contract could become permanent.

The role requires 5+ years in compliance/risk, MLRO/IO experience, and strong regulatory knowledge, with a hybrid working model based in Cape Town. You will liaise with regulatory bodies and embed compliance across the group.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in compliance, risk, or related fields.
• Experience as MLRO and IO (or deputy).
• Proven track record in developing and implementing compliance programs.
• Experience with regulatory audits or inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Lead regulatory compliance across South Africa for SuperSportBet.
• Develop and enforce compliance policies and procedures.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks.
• Coordinate regulatory reporting to WCGRB and other regulators.
• Conduct internal compliance audits and create action plans.
• Provide ongoing staff training on compliance obligations.
• Advise KingMakers and executive team on regulatory risks.
• Establish relationships with regulatory bodies and external advisors.
• Develop monitoring and reporting systems for compliance performance.
