Job summary

TP Group is seeking a Compliance Specialist I to lead compliance, risk, change management, and project delivery within a fast-paced BFSI-focused environment in Cape Town. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, maintain risk registers, and implement governance frameworks across business and client requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years in related disciplines, with experience in BFSI, BPO, or outsourced services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 3–5 years in project management, change management, or risk/compliance.
• Experience in BFSI, BPO, contact center, retail, or outsourced services.

Responsibilities

• Maintain training, competency, and compliance records for colleagues.
• Maintain risk and compliance policies, procedures, and records.
• Maintain risk and control frameworks for governance.
• Partner with teams to implement controls and compliance.
• Develop risk registers, mitigation plans, and reporting frameworks.
• Support risk and control self-assessments with stakeholders and clients.
• Produce MI, reports, and dashboards for risk and compliance.
• Perform root-cause analysis on risks and incidents; implement actions.
• Monitor compliance performance and suggest governance improvements.
• Coordinate client and business change initiatives across teams.
• Design and execute change management plans and training.
• Assess readiness and impact of changes on people and processes.
• Embed change activities into delivery plans; track adoption.
• Manage stakeholder expectations with clear communication.
• Lead cross-functional projects and ensure on-time delivery.
