Job summary

A leading auditing firm is seeking an IT Auditor in Johannesburg to conduct onsite and remote audits, manage client relationships, and draft proposals and reports. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Science or Commerce and 2-4 years of auditing experience along with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

  • 2 - 4 years' systems and process IT auditing experience, preferably with Big4 or equivalent.
  • CISA, CISM, CRISC, CGEIT or ISO 27001 credentials advantageous.
  • Exposure to SOX or similar IT business risk audits is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Draft client proposals from approved templates.
  • Conduct onsite and remote audits, ensuring effective documentation.
  • Manage client relationships and draft reports and certificates.

Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
Strong verbal and written English communication skills

  • Exposure to SOX or similar IT business risk and control based audits advantageous.

  • Conduct onsite self-regulatory reviews and reviews for regulated markets at clients and submit subsequent certifications in accordance.

  • Conduct remote audits where applicable, with effective use of internet-based conferencing facilities, taking notes and obtaining and documenting relevant evidence.

  • Draft reports and certificates for clients within predetermined time frames, including findings of review work.

  • Develop and sustain exceptional client relationship management.

  • Draft client invoices where applicable.

  • Project management.
  • Associated admin tasks.
  • Understanding of and adherence to the QMS.
