Job summary

A leader in the arts and entertainment industry is seeking a Compliance Administrator to join their team based in Durban. The role involves managing all administrative tasks relating to contracts, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing support for budgeting and reporting. Candidates must have a relevant degree and at least 5 years of experience in contract management or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Managing all administrative tasks relating to the preparation of Production and other business contracts.
  • Ensuring that a detailed financial budget for each assigned project is finalized.
  • Ensuring all audit, compliance, risk management and governance processes are identified and resolved.
  • Providing administrative support to the Arts and Marketing department for reporting and budgeting.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Relevant tertiary qualification (Degree)
  • A minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in Contract Management, business management or related field
MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS
Contract Management
  • Managing of all administrative tasks relating to the preparation of Production and other business contracts; maintaining records of all contracts, and ensuring compliance to the terms of the contract and any other prescripts and regulations
Budgeting
  • Ensures that a detailed financial budget for each assigned project / production is finalized, that Budgets are filed, monitored, and adhered to, in line with contractual terms and that financial transactions are checked against the budget, approved, and processed.
Compliance
  • Ensuring all audit, compliance, risk management and governance processes are identified, mitigated and resolved; Ensure that Departmental processes are compliant with legislation, contracts and Company policies
Report Writing
  • Providing administrative support to the Arts and Marketing department in respect of Coordinating and consolidating monthly, quarterly, annual reporting and budgeting and annual performance plans; Monitoring, verification and compliance of monthly, quarterly and yearly reports
