Management Assistant

The incumbent will manage and coordinate the Head of Department's diary, meetings, communication, correspondence, and stakeholder liaison on matters assigned by the Head of Department.

Responsibilities include:

  • Accurate data capturing, general administration, and record keeping.
  • Recording, typing, and distributing minutes; arranging meeting venues.
  • Effective document control and electronic diary management.
  • Managing the boardroom diary.
  • Coordinating catering for meetings and visits.
  • General office management, including supervising office cleaners.
  • Developing and maintaining a computerized filing system.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
  • National Diploma in Office Administration/Secretarial or equivalent qualification.

Minimum Experience:

  • 3 years' office administration experience.
  • Experience in the mining industry is advantageous.
