Job summary

Dignity Care Services is seeking compassionate Care Home Caregivers / Healthcare Assistants to join our team in Gauteng. You will provide personal care and support to elderly, frail, disabled, and special-needs clients in care homes, retirement facilities, hospices, and private homes, following individual care plans and safety protocols.

We welcome candidates with or without experience. Paid training, opportunities for certification, and ongoing professional development are offered.

Qualifications

• No formal qualification required for entry-level positions
• Previous caregiving, healthcare, or care-home experience is an advantage but not essential
• Willingness to learn and work in a professional care environment

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities
• Assist elderly, frail, disabled, and special-needs clients
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with mobility, feeding, and medication reminders
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and comfort
• Follow individual care plans and facility procedures
• Report relevant changes in clients' condition to the appropriate supervisor
