Job summary

Dignity Care Services is seeking Care Home Caregivers / Healthcare Assistants to support clients in care homes and home-based environments in South Africa. The roles are Full-Time with or without experience, focused on preserving dignity, independence and emotional wellbeing in line with individual care plans.

Care staff may work in care homes, retirement facilities or clients' private residences. Training is paid and ongoing development is provided, with medical cover and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient and respectful attitude.
• Willingness to learn and work in care environments.
• Reliable, trustworthy and committed.
• No formal qualification required.
• Experience in care homes or healthcare is an advantage but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities
• Support elderly, disabled, frail, and special-needs clients
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Assist with mobility, feeding, and medication reminders
• Maintain hygiene, safety, and comfort standards
• Follow care plans and facility policies
