Job description

Group of companies based in Centurion has an opportunity for a Legal PA, who is an Admitted Attorney.

Successful incumbent will report directly to the Chairman and be required to provide comprehensive practical support and guidance to the Chairman with particular emphasis on the business and legal frameworks of the nature of the business at hand.

Position would suit a candidate who is immediately available.

Position Info:

Successful candidate will be an Admitted Attorney and fluent in Afrikaans (non-negotiable).

Job Duties Include:
  1. Draft and compile business and legal documents relevant.
  2. Prepare business and or legal correspondence on behalf of the chairman.
  3. Commissioning work on behalf of the chairman.
  4. Managing the chairman's diary.
  5. Facilitating meetings that will best benefit the company.
  6. Attend meetings on behalf of the chairman, recording minutes and ensuring proper distribution of them and or storage.
  7. Managing a set budget for matters pertaining to your department.
  8. Attending events / meetings as the chairman's representative.
  9. Assisting in preparing documentation for tenders, expression of interest and project submissions as required by the chairman.
  10. Keeping abreast on all projects that the Company is involved in.
  11. Establish, maintain and follow up all relations with existing and new business clients.
  12. Must be Internet and PC proficient with advanced MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and all other related programs.
  13. Preparing presentations and all relevant documents as required by the chairman.
  14. Comprehensive knowledge, understanding and ability to interpret business and legal documents.
  15. A candidate who is a good communicator, who is open to learning and growth, is positive, with a strong personality is key for this role.
