Promote studies and recruit participantsAddress potential participants in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOP)Inform willing participants that participation in the study is voluntaryAddress relevant concerns and misconceptions about the studySchedule appointment / s with eligible participants to attend further screening at study clinicContact participants prior to their scheduled visits to remind them of their visitSupport Study Retention :
Prepare list of home visits according to priority and living areaContact participants telephonically to reschedule visitsAccompany research staff to the dwellings or clinicsConduct counselling sessions with participants to ensure retentionSupport participant surveysSupport translationsSupport Research Literacy :
Conduct study awareness sessions in waiting areasSupport focus groups / interviews / translation if neededPromote research within the community and community structuresEffective Self-Management :
