Our client, a respected non-profit organization dedicated to improving public health outcomes in underserved communities across Gauteng , is seeking an experienced and compassionate Community Health Programme Manager. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and management of community health programmes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and community needs.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of health programmes, including staff supervision, resource allocation, and budget management.
• Develop and maintain strong partnerships with local clinics, hospitals, government health departments, and other community stakeholders in the Pretoria area.
• Monitor programme performance, collect data, and conduct evaluations to assess impact and identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health regulations and organizational policies.
• Develop and manage programme budgets, ensuring efficient use of financial resources.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and mentor programme staff and volunteers.
• Organize and facilitate health education workshops and outreach activities for the community.
• Represent the organization at community meetings and health-related forums.
• Prepare regular reports on programme activities, outcomes, and challenges for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Nursing, Social Work, or a related health or social science field.
• A Master's degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in public health programme management, with a proven track record of success in community-based settings.
• In-depth knowledge of public health principles, primary healthcare, and common health challenges in South Africa .
• Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
