A healthcare provider is seeking an experienced Dietitian to join their team in delivering community Dietetic services. The role includes working with a varied caseload across multiple settings and contributing to community health initiatives. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of post-registration experience and a commitment to improving patient care in a supportive environment. As we transform our Nutrition and Dietetic Services, an excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced, registered Dietitian to join our innovative, friendly team delivering the Community Dietetic service to Inverness and the surrounding area. You’ll be joining our team based in Inverness and we recognise the benefits of hybrid workplace approaches including remote working. The community caseload is varied, providing a comprehensive Dietetic service to inpatients, outpatients, care homes and care at home, and includes the full range of Nutrition and Dietetic interventions. There is access to a wide range of specialities within the Dietetic service for support and onward referral. There are plenty of opportunities for CPD, QI project and community development work and contributing to the undergrad placement program shaping the future of the Dietetic Workforce; we deliver the PAL model. Our team of knowledgeable and experienced professionals are committed to continuously improving patient care and experience and contributing to the evidence base. We support interdepartmental supervision and peer learning. Our service is committed to shifting the balance of care to work in upstream prevention and early intervention, innovative and trauma informed approaches to health and wellbeing, especially in relation to Diabetes/ Weight and Health. This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape these programmes of work with emergence of new treatments and technologies to support patient outcomes.
We’re looking for someone with at least 2 years post registration experience, ideally within an MDT setting and we can commit robust induction and support if you’re new to the world of Community Dietetics.
