Placements24 is seeking a proactive Community Development Coordinator for the Sandton, Gauteng region. You will identify community needs, plan and manage development projects, and foster collaboration among residents, local authorities, NGOs, and other stakeholders.

The role requires strong project management, excellent communication, and the ability to mobilize resources, organize workshops, and monitor outcomes to drive sustainable development in the Sandton area.

Formación

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Community Development, Social Sciences, Urban Planning, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in community development, project management, or a similar role.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, implement, and manage community-based projects.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct community needs assessments to identify social, economic, and environmental priorities.
• Develop, plan, and manage community development projects from inception to completion.
• Facilitate community consultations and engagement processes to ensure local buy-in and participation.
• Build and maintain relationships with community members, local authorities, NGOs, and other relevant stakeholders.

• Organize and facilitate workshops, training sessions, and community events.
