Placements24 seeks a socially conscious Community Architect to lead projects in Mahikeng, North West. You will design community facilities, affordable housing, and public spaces that uplift residents and foster social cohesion.

Collaborating with local government, NGOs, and communities, you will ensure sustainable, culturally sensitive solutions, manage risks, and oversee delivery from concept to construction while maintaining quality and budget.

Qualifications

• Registered Professional Architect with SACAP.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in community-based or social housing projects.
• Ability to work with diverse community groups and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and project management tools.
• Strong understanding of affordable housing typologies and funding mechanisms.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
