Job description

DURLB – Communications Officer – 6-month contract - Hybrid

6 Month Contract (with the potential for renewal based on performance)

Purpose of the job:

Responsible for representing the client's brand and maintaining positive relationships with clients, community, influencers and like-minded organizations.

Required Qualifications
  1. At least 3-5 years of experience in a public relations or corporate communications role.
  2. Proficiency in FreshDesk or similar customer service management software.
Duties & Responsibilities
Technical Competencies and responsibilities
  1. Manage the customer careline, ensuring timely and empathetic responses to customer inquiries and concerns.
  2. Oversee community management efforts, engaging with our community members across various platforms and fostering a positive and supportive environment.
  3. Handle influencer management, including identifying, engaging, and maintaining relationships with influencers aligned with our brand values.
  4. Execute public relations strategies to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
  5. Collaborate with like-minded organizations on mutually beneficial initiatives and partnerships.
Behavioural Competencies:
  1. Excellent emotional intelligence, with a diplomatic and empathetic approach to customer interactions.
  2. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English.
  3. Strong organizational abilities, capable of coordinating with multiple departments and managing competing priorities.
  4. Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
