To be considered for this role, you'll need a relevant qualification in communications, media studies, or journalism, and experience in a communications role. You will work alongside the communications team, focusing on building their strategic communication skills.
Media Monitoring Africa (MMA), based in Johannesburg, has a vision to create a responsible, quality media that enables an engaged and informed citizenry in Africa and the world.
MMA aims to promote the development of a free, fair, ethical, and critical media culture across the African continent. They have identified the need to strengthen internal communications and build strategic storytelling capacity to enhance their reach and impact.
Their young and dynamic communications team would benefit immensely from mentorship and training, particularly from a volunteer with experience in the media industry.
