Location: Precious Metals Refiners

Job Description

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

1. Develop and implement campaigns addressing issues such as safety and production.
2. Manage divisional issues effectively.
3. Compile site publications and support community newspaper efforts.
4. Maintain digital channels, especially Engage, with relevant and accurate content.
5. Update and manage other communication channels like screens and noticeboards.
6. Support employee engagement activities like surveys, safety days, and cultural events.
7. Partner with Corporate Communications for initiatives.
8. Gather, prepare, and seek approval for content across various channels.
9. Identify communication opportunities through active engagement.
10. Assist in developing and executing communication campaigns.
11. Provide public relations services in partnership with corporate communications.
12. Organize site visits and special events.
13. Conduct research to validate communication strategies' effectiveness.
14. Align local communication systems with corporate strategies and review their effectiveness.
15. Advise management on communication decisions and provide stakeholder updates.
16. Distribute briefs appropriately and manage employee queries and feedback.
17. Support induction for new employees and identify potential conflicts or risks.

• Deliver sustainability activities as per the Life of Asset Plan.
• Comply with environmental and social requirements.
• Implement risk mitigation techniques.
• Report on sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Communications or Journalism.

Experience

• Minimum three years in the communication field.
• Valid driver’s license.

Technical Knowledge

• Operational processes within the role’s scope.
• Basic financial metrics, cost management, and budgeting.
• Risk management techniques.
• Safety, health, environment, and regulatory compliance.
