Job description

Our commercial vehicle dealer client Roodepoort currently holds a vacancy for a Parts Sales Executive.

Must have: Commercial Vehicle experience and experience on Multicat and Evolve computer packages.

This position will be suited to an experienced person who has the ability to attract clients, provide excellent customer service, and maintain high levels of sales on an ongoing basis.

Responsibilities:
  1. Administration – to ensure all paperwork, documentation, requisitions are properly recorded within stock control system.
  2. To ensure that all credit sales are made to an authorised signatory of approved account.
  3. To keep all parts catalogues, manufacturers lists, etc. updated and tidy.
  4. Communication – to ensure warehouse manager / parts manager is kept aware of stock movement.
  5. To notify warehouse manager / parts manager of any difference noted when inspecting incoming goods.
  6. To maintain good helpful relationships with all customers and their representatives.
  7. Marketing – to assist if required in any marketing activity.
  8. Finance – to ensure all transactions take place according to company policy.
  9. To ensure security of all cash and cheques received.
  10. To ensure that the highest level of CSI is achieved.
  11. To conduct all transactions with customers with the utmost courtesy.
  12. To ensure the accurate identification of the customer needs.
  13. To receive & identify stock when delivered from the supplier.
Qualifications and Experience:
  1. Minimum Qualifications: Matric
  2. 3+ Years' Experience as a Parts Sales Executive
  3. Commercial vehicle (Parts) experience
