Job description

Our commercial vehicle dealer client in Roodepoort currently holds a vacancy for a Parts Sales Executive.

Requirements:

  • Must have Commercial Vehicle experience.
  • Experience with Multicat and Evolve computer packages.

This position is suited for an experienced individual who can attract clients, provide excellent customer service, and maintain high sales levels.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Administration: Ensure all paperwork, documentation, and requisitions are properly recorded within the stock control system.
  2. Authorize credit sales to approved signatories.
  3. Keep parts catalogues and manufacturers' lists updated and organized.
  4. Communication: Keep warehouse/parts managers informed of stock movements and notify them of discrepancies during incoming goods inspection.
  5. Maintain good relationships with customers and their representatives.
  6. Marketing: Assist with marketing activities as required.
  7. Finance: Ensure transactions follow company policy and that all cash and cheques are secured.
  8. Aim to achieve the highest level of CSI.
  9. Conduct all customer transactions courteously and accurately identify customer needs.
  10. Receive and identify stock upon delivery from suppliers.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Matric qualification.
  • Minimum of 3+ years' experience as a Parts Sales Executive in the commercial vehicle sector.
