Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license appropriate for the commercial vehicles operated (e.g., Code 10 or Code 14).
• 3–5 years of experience as a commercial vehicle driver or in a similar role.
• Demonstrable knowledge of the North West road network.
• Proficiency in basic vehicle maintenance checks.
• Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and reliability.
• Good communication skills for interacting with dispatch and customers.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles for the delivery of goods across designated routes.
• Ensure safe and secure loading and unloading of cargo, verifying against delivery manifests.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and delivery details.
• Adhere to road safety laws, company policies, and traffic regulations.
• Provide professional and courteous service to customers at the point of delivery.
