Job summary

PSG Konsult Ltd. in Pretoria, Gauteng, is seeking a Commercial Underwriter to provide underwriting assistance to Advisers, focusing on commercial lines and transport business.

This permanent role requires a strong client focus and solid knowledge of short-term insurance. You will liaise with clients and advisers, issue policies, renewals and endorsements, and record details in systems, with a DOFA confirmation from FSCA and RE5 completed.

Qualifications

• NQF 4/5 – Short-term insurance qualification is required.
• RE5 regulatory examination completed.
• 5–7 years' short-term insurance underwriting experience.
• Experience with commercial lines policies.
• DOFA confirmation from FSCA.
