Based in South Africa, Gauteng, Germiston, the position offers a senior underwriting challenge with opportunities to mentor junior staff and contribute to retention metrics while maintaining disciplined records and diary management.

Qualifications

• Matric + NQF4 Short-Term Insurance required.
• NQF5 Short-Term Insurance (advantageous).
• RE5 certification.
• Minimum 8+ years’ commercial underwriting experience.
• Strong knowledge of Multimark III / commercial policy wording.
• Computer literate; TIAL experience an advantage.
• Strong communication, analytical thinking, and customer service skills.
