What will you do?

The Miway Business Insurance department is looking for a new Commercial Underwriter to join the Miway Business Insurance Specialist support team.

Minimum Qualification

1. Regulatory Exam (RE 5)
2. FAIS credits and Class of Business
3. Matric / NQF 4
4. Applicable post-matric insurance related qualification will be advantageous

Minimum Experience

1. Minimum 3 years’ experience using MIA and TIA
2. Any commercial claims related experience will be beneficial
3. Any commercial insurance sales or servicing experience will be beneficial

1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
2. Ability to work independently
3. Excellent people skills
4. Strong analytical ability
5. Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
