Role Summary :

This full-time role is ideal for a seasoned Commercial Underwriter who is resident in or willing to commute to Springs.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide exceptional client service and manage client relationships.
• Conduct risk assessments and prepare tailored quotations.
• Issue new policies, process renewals, and manage endorsements.
• Accurately record and maintain policy details on our systems.
• Address inquiries related to commercial and domestic insurance portfolios.

Qualifications & Experience :

• Minimum 5 years' experience in Commercial Underwriting (willingness to learn Agri and additional product offerings is essential).
• Relevant qualifications: RE 5 with credits, plus relevant certifications in commercial and domestic underwriting.
• Fit and Proper status as per FAIS requirements.

Technical & Soft Skills :

• Proficient in Excel and commercial administration systems with an understanding of portfolio reconciliations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills coupled with excellent planning and organizational abilities.
• Demonstrated effective time management and a client-focused approach.

Compensation :

Competitive base salary plus performance-based incentives (commission).
