We are looking for an individual who shows collaborative and leadership teamwork, who is professional in their approach and who is inspired through creativity, to fill this exciting role. Experience in liquor / luxury / high-end goods desirable.

REGION:

Pretoria / Johannesburg - to be based out of Pretoria (essential).

AREA:

To ensure the effective implementation of the company's sales strategy in the deluxe on-con market – Pretoria, Midrand, Muldersdrift and Bryanston.

The successful candidate should preferably have experience working in the luxury goods space and have experience working with restaurants and fine-dining establishments.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Brand Availability and Sales Volumes: Achieve availability by channel, as per targets set, correct implementation of brand availability, by channel, ensure that brand equity is a key driver of all activity and activations, drive volume through innovative ideas, drive volume through brand prioritisation per channel.
  2. Promotions and Brand Visibility: Ensure that promotions are effectively implemented and within brand equity guidelines, ensure that the correct brands are promoted in the correct channels and outlets, ensure correct implementation of our National Promotions Strategy, manage ROI (return on investment) of promotions, ensure brand visibility is optimised through imagery, back room displays, staff uniforms, menus and specialised merchandise.
  3. Operational Excellence: Correctly implement and update call cycle, achieve % call rate as per the call cycle, ensure that all outlets are coded correctly, ensure all requirements are achieved during the rep call, correctly complete all administration and report requirements.
  4. Consumer Interaction: Interact responsibly with consumers at all available opportunities, collect consumer information as per the brand target market, feedback consumer learning and expectations.
  5. Financial Asset Management: Quantity and cycle discount parameters adhered to, correct completion and timeous return of POD's and credit notes, vehicle maintained and well cared for, vehicle mileage is within budget, responsible use of promotional stock.
Requirements:
  1. 3 Year Tertiary Education (Beneficial)
  2. 3-Years Relevant experience – NB experience within FMCG / liquor industry experience
  3. Product, service knowledge and understanding of category management
  4. Knowledge of marketing and accounting principles
  5. Computer literate
  6. Ability to conceptualise and negotiate
  7. Customer orientation
  8. Sound interpersonal skills and creativity (big picture thinking)
  9. Team player and ability to work independently using initiative
  10. Endurance and ability to tolerate extended hours
