Introduction
This role requires the candidate to have international experience (Import and Export). The role will report to the Head of Sales - International.
Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include the following:
- Full commercial function to maximize revenue and profit via various sales channels on the export market to achieve monthly and yearly targets.
- Day-to-day communication between customers and RFG factories to ensure good customer service.
- Ongoing market penetration and development for new and existing products to grow businesses in international markets.
- Build product awareness through networking, key account management, and other relevant methods or platforms.
- Manage relationships with agents, sub-agents, and direct customers in allocated markets.
- Manage and communicate sales plans based on data inputs such as global demand, crop size, and yields.
- Report monthly on sales performance and insights to adjust strategies accordingly.
- Prepare annual budgets and quarterly forecasts for allocated markets.
- Formulate and implement pricing strategies per product and country in line with business and brand objectives.
- Attend trade fairs to develop new leads, follow up, and convert them into profitable opportunities.
- Conduct regular market visits.
- Stay updated on company products, competitors, and market trends.
- Drive continuous improvement and implement business initiatives.
- Monitor and report on competitor activity in international markets.
- Optimize product mix per country and region.
- Maintain close communication with production facilities regarding stock levels.
- Coordinate with logistics to ensure timely deliveries.
- Manage and communicate production plans based on market research and sales data.

Desired Experience & Qualification
Our ideal candidate should have the following:
- National Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, Food Science/Technology.
- 2-5 years of experience in a commercial/customer management role.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transport.
