Minimum requirements for the role : Must have a related tertiary qualification in Marketing, Commercial and / or Agri technical fieldExperience in Sales Management and Key Account Management specifically ideally within the fertiliser or related industry is essentialMust have a proven track recordAbility astute with sound forecasting and budgeting knowledge and experienceMust have a valid driver's license and be willing to travelThe successful candidate will be responsible for : Developing and managing key accounts for identified customers, analyzing client-related information, and developing strategies to preserve the customer-company relationship.Setting objectives and strategies to ensure key clients are receiving consistent service and attention.Maintaining and ensuring continuous growth of local and Southern African markets in agreement with company strategies.Defining and achieving specific sales, market share, and profit margins.Managing the divisional contribution through better cost management and the maximizing of both volumes and margins.Developing and implementing national marketing strategies.Implementing and controlling marketing activities and sales strategies.Conducting competitor analysis and keeping abreast of market developments and trends.Training, coaching, and mentoring members within the sales and marketing team.Managing research and development initiatives within the departmentpiling sales budgets and forecasting for the department.Managing the Agri sales and marketing team consisting of internal sales, external sales, and agronomists.Please note that subsequent to the screening and shortlisting process, all further communication will be entered into, only with the shortlisted candidates
