Purpose

We are seeking a Commercial Manager to expand our chat commerce footprint in South Africa. You will engage with current and prospective clients, introducing our solutions to transform customer engagement and achieve operational efficiencies through innovative digital channels.

Responsibilities
  • Managing existing clients and revenue: Drive value by identifying problems, offering solutions, managing the full sales cycle, and providing technical support to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Cross-sell to existing clients: Develop client portfolios, conduct research, create business plans, negotiate deals, and provide after-sales support.
  • Hunting for new clients: Build long-term partnerships, identify new opportunities, negotiate deals, present products, set and meet sales targets, and collaborate internally to ensure client success.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in creating client business plans, forecasting bookings and revenues
  • Experience working cross-functionally in solution teams
  • Relevant degree or 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong business acumen, stakeholder engagement, and a track record of exceeding revenue goals
  • Knowledge of messaging/payment products and industry, extensive industry network
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and creative problem-solving skills
