Commercial Manager

Clickatell is looking for a Commercial Manager

The role focuses on expanding our chat commerce solution's footprint in South Africa. You will engage with current and future clients to introduce our solutions portfolio, transforming customer engagement and achieving cost and operational efficiencies through innovative digital channels.

Requirements of the Role

• Relevant Degree or 8 years of relevant experience with similar duties

Work Experience

• Experience in creating comprehensive client business plans to manage sales and forecast future bookings and revenues
• Experience working cross-functionally as part of a solution team
• Consistently exceeding revenue goals

Knowledge and Skills

• Industry knowledge and understanding of shared business challenges
• Experience with messaging and/or payment products
• Extensive network of decision makers in the industry
• Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal, business acumen, problem-solving, and analytical skills

Responsibilities of the Role

• Manage existing clients and revenue, driving value and managing the full sales cycle
• Cross-sell to existing clients and develop in-depth customer portfolios
• Negotiate complex deals and build strategic account plans
