About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Commercial Legal Advisor to join their established legal department in the vibrant city of Cape Town. This role is crucial for supporting the company's commercial operations by providing accurate and timely legal guidance. You will play a key role in reviewing and negotiating contracts, advising on regulatory matters, and mitigating legal risks associated with business activities. The successful candidate will work closely with various business units, fostering strong relationships and ensuring legal considerations are integrated into strategic planning, contributing to the firm's success in the Western Cape.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including service agreements, supply contracts, and partnership agreements.
• Provide legal advice on commercial law, consumer protection, and regulatory compliance relevant to the company's operations.
• Conduct due diligence for commercial transactions and assist in risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
• Support the business development team with legal aspects of new ventures and market expansions.

Requirements
