Commercial Freight Manager

Responsibilities:

1. Developing and implementing the commercial strategies according to company vision and objectives aiming to accelerate growth.
2. Forecast demand on both the long and short term to ensure the feasibility of the company strategy and plans.
3. Monitor performance of sales and operation departments, managing the directorate budget and prepare reports.
4. Create partnership and long-term relationships with customers through continuous communication, events, and other different activities.
5. Act to acquire new customers and manage client relationships (new and existing).
6. Conduct market research and analysis to create detailed business plans on commercial opportunities (expansion, business development, etc.).
7. Understand the requirements of existing customers to ensure their needs are being met.
8. Lead sales teams to achieve their sales targets and control operational costs to meet the business plan and maximize profitability.
9. Prepare and monitor sales reports based on actual sales & sales forecasts.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Bachelor degree (BA / BS), ideally with major / concentrations in business / marketing, logistics and / or supply chain management, or equivalent degree.
2. 7+ years of related sales experience, with a demonstrable book of business.
3. Ability to sell / represent the company other lines of business.
4. A unique combination of good interpersonal and communications / presentation skills, both written and oral, coupled with sharp business acumen and consultative sales.
5. Strong management and organizational skills.
6. Negotiating skills.
7. Good numeracy skills.
8. Good attention to detail.
9. The ability to multitask.
