Large manufacturing company seeks an executive of the highest calibre, to oversee and manage the full financial function of the business and to drive day-to-day financial outputs , financial analysis, reporting, monitoring of budgets, profitability and cost controls, pricing, statutory tax functions; as well as playing a pivotal role in design, implementation and managing of the business strategy.

Education and experience required :

Appropriate Tertiary Qualification

BCom / BA Accounting with CTA / PGDA or Equivalent.

CA / CIMA – would be an advantage.

5 – 10 years of accounting experience (essential).

2 plus years management experience (essential) with exposure to commercial and strategic management would be an advantage.

Experience in coaching and developing teams.

Experience in working with manufacturing environment, with the ability to establish relationships with stakeholders.

Ability to interact with confidence at all levels in the organisation.

Advanced Computer literacy (MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint).

Understanding of IT and IT related aspects with the aim to optimise administration / finance processes and resources.

Proven track record in leadership roles.

Effective, goal directed management of subordinates and staff.

Interpretation and analysis of business information, statistics, trends and ability to provide suggestions and solutions for discussion with the executive team.

Commercial and strategic support for the executive team.
