We have an exciting new opportunity for a driven Finance professional looking to take that next big step - with a company known for taking big, innovative leaps in allied health! Our Wellington CBD Head Office is looking for an experienced and motivated Commercial Finance Manager who has the skills of a leader and the drive of an enthusiast. You will be responsible for owning and leading the Group's financial planning and analysis function - think budgeting, forecasting, performance reporting, scenario analysis and financial modelling. As the Commercial Finance Manager, you will oversee Group Treasury to ensure compliance requirements.
This is a permanent full-time role and reports to the Financial Controller.
It is essential that the ideal candidate have experience using Workday Adaptive software (or similar planning tools).
Main Responsibilities
- Own the financial planning calendar, coordinating inputs from Habit's senior leadership and cost centre owners
- Lead the Group's long-term planning cycles with clearly defined timelines, methodologies and assumptions
- Deliver structured performance reporting
- Lead the deisgn of templates, drivers, reports and dashboards within the platform
- Build strong relationships across the company to enhance planning accuracy
- Manage covenant reporting across all banking arrangements
- Lead cashflow forecasting, ensuring alignment with operational planning and liquidity needs

The Ideal Candidate
- You must have a professional accountancy qualification (CA, ACA, CPA, CIMA)
- A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a senior commercial finance role, preferably in complex multi-entity organisations
- Sound experience in sharing complex financial information with non-finance staff
- Workday Adaptive experience
- Must have people management experience
- Excellent and warm communication - you can only plan when you link in with the teams across the Group
- Organised, structured in approach and analytical
- Ability to oversee and audit adherence to finance policies and procedures
