JOB PURPOSE

This role plays a key role in the company’s corporate management accounting systems, including governance and controls, budgeting, planning & reporting, and management of business performance.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Position Overview: The Finance Analyst will support the Commercial Finance Director by providing financial insights, reporting, and analysis to drive business performance and strategic decisions.
  2. Key Responsibilities:
    1. Leadership:
      • Demonstrate visible leadership in Finance and engage in industry forums to enhance the organization’s reputation.
      • Lead teams in delivering people agenda activities, including mentoring, recruiting, and talent management.
    2. Information Management & Reporting:
      • Manage financial forecasts, including submission and review of trade-off decisions.
      • Lead the preparation and presentation of performance reviews with senior stakeholders.
    3. Performance Reporting:
      • Ensure internal validation and sign-off of reports.
      • Provide guidance on accounting implications of business decisions.
    4. Business Partnering:
      • Support country leadership teams with financial decision-making, aligning business targets and reward systems.
      • Drive ROMI savings through analytics and resource management.
    5. Continuous Improvement:
      • Lead digital transformation, simplification, and process improvement initiatives.
  3. Experiences & Qualifications:
    • Professional qualification in accountancy – CA or CIMA (or similar), preferably nearing completion.
    • Strong analytical skills with a bias toward action.
    • Ability to manage upwards and influence stakeholders.
    • Quick grasp of financial principles and value-creating decisions.
    • Ability to handle pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  4. Skills:
    • Proficiency in financial forecasting and reporting tools.
    • Ability to analyze complex financial data and communicate insights.
    • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
    • Experience with SAP, GCUT, iFinance preferred.
  5. Leadership & Behavioral Expectations:
    • Deliver results with resilience and collaborate effectively.
    • Focus on consumer needs, demonstrate humility, and interpret data smartly.
