Role Overview :

We are seeking a motivated, results-driven Commercial / Corporate Sales Specialist (Business Development) to join our Richards Bay team. In this role, you will focus on driving business growth, developing strong relationships with corporate and commercial clients, and strategically expanding our market presence.

Your responsibilities :

  • Drive growth by sourcing, engaging, and securing new corporate and commercial clients to increase revenue.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with senior decision-makers.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to exceed targets.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to deliver tailored solutions to clients.
  • Deliver persuasive presentations and product demonstrations that showcase value.
  • Monitor market trends, competitors, and client feedback to refine offerings.

Qualifications and skills :

  • Proven success in B2B sales, with a history of closing deals and exceeding targets.
  • Strong communication skills, confident in stakeholder engagement.
  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, with a focus on results.
  • Proficient in CRM platforms, Microsoft Office, and modern sales tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum requirements :

  • Matric (Grade 12 completed).
  • At least 4-5 years of external commercial or corporate direct sales experience, focusing on new business development.
  • Experience in solutions sales (SaaS, IT, Telecoms, Technology), preferably within Transport, Logistics, or Engineering sectors.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Comfortable with technology, including CRM systems and the latest sales tools.

  • Hunter mentality: ability to generate leads, close deals, and surpass sales targets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in cold calling, pipeline development, and lead generation.
  • Strong existing network within relevant industries.
