Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Legal Officer to manage commercial contracts within a dynamic industrial setting in Klerksdorp. You will draft, review, and negotiate sales, procurement, and service agreements, ensuring legal compliance and alignment with business objectives.

Qualifications

LLB degree or equivalent legal qualification.
Admitted as an Attorney or Advocate.
Minimum 5 years in commercial contract law, in-house or private practice.
Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements.

Responsibilities

Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial contracts, including supply agreements, NDAs, and partnership agreements.
Provide legal advice on contractual risks to internal stakeholders.
Ensure contracts comply with South African laws and company policies.
Manage contract lifecycle and archiving.
